Easy Tool-Free Installation
Most compatible refrigerators place the filter compartment in the upper-right corner inside the refrigerator or behind the lower base grille.
1. Open the filter compartment door.
2. Pull the old filter straight out and dispose of it.
3. Remove the protective covers from the new filter’s O-rings.
4. Keep the arrow facing upward and slide the EDR1RXD1 into the housing.
5. Close the filter door completely so the cartridge locks into position.
6. Flush approximately 3–4 gallons of water through the dispenser before drinking.
7. Reset the refrigerator’s filter-status indicator where applicable.
